      This is an interactive seminar, hosted by the California Association of Public Information Officers, and facilitated by the Davenport Institute's Ashley Trim. This program will explore:

      • How Purpose Determines Platform - know your goals for citizen interaction and the technology will follow
      • Thinking like an Online Marketer - the importance of outreach in the digital space
      • Does Online Engagement = Public Engagement?

      InstructorAshley Trim, Ashley Trim is the executive director of the Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership. She is a national speaker and writer on the topic of public engagement, an adjunct professor at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, and a frequent speaker at universities across the country. Ashley received her BA in government from Patrick Henry College and received her MPP from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy.
      Cost: Registration for this event costs $65 for CAPIO members and $80 non-members. This includes lunch.
