      Magellanic Penguins: Wildlife Spectacles and Long-Term Studies

      Ginger Rebstock

      The Penguin Sentinels project, a joint endeavor of the University of Washington and the Wildlife Conservation Society, is a long-term study that has followed the world’s largest breeding colony of Magellanic Penguins at Punta Tombo, Argentina since 1983.

      Ginger Rebstock, a research scientist with the University of Washington, will share her experiences living with half a million penguins and detail what has been discovered about penguin life over the study’s twenty-nine years.

      Cost: $5 for public; FREE for Aquarium members, seniors age 62 and up, teachers, and students with valid ID and advanced reservations.
