PANEL: SO YOU WANT TO MAKE A FILM IN CHINA: THE MAKING OF SHANGHAI CALLING

Lately, Hollywood is abuzz about figuring out how to make films in China and reach one of the world's potential biggest audiences. Daniel Hsia, director of SHANGHAI CALLING, leads a discussion about the ins and outs of filming in China, his own experiences in making the Film Fest's Opening Night film, and the prospects for future co-productions. Hsia will screen behind the scenes footage and talk about his experiences working there and how he was able to get his first feature off the ground. Joining Hsia will be crew members from SHANGHAI CALLING. Moderated by director Henry Chan.
