      Learn. Eat. Hang out.

The Aquarium of the Pacific’s Teen Science Café will be presenting an event for high school and middle school students to explore current issues and chat with science professionals. This month, we will be focusing on Tardigrades.

Join us as we investigate these small but mighty animals. In addition to being adorable, tardigrades are able to survive extreme conditions such as radiation exposure, boiling water, and even the vacuum of space! The speaker for the evening will be Karla Heidelberg, professor of biological sciences and environmental studies at the University of Southern California. Guests will also be able to participate in hands-on activities related to the topic. Attendees can enjoy free cheese and pepperoni pizza during the event! Space is limited. RSVP Today!
