      ‘DEEP CONNECTIONS’ PASSAGEWAY ART GALLERY PHOTO EXHIBIT AT UNION STATION

      “Deep Connections,” a new photo exhibition featuring the otherworldly black and white images of artist Ken Karagozian, is now on display in the Passageway Art Gallery at Union Station. For the first time ever, gallery images will also be accessible at unionstationla.com.

      Karagozian’s intimate photographs chronicle a unique view of Los Angeles through the documentation of Metro subway construction over the last three decades. His dramatic images balance the humanity of the workers, the enormity of the machinery and the intricacy of the jobs in the complex underground of the metro system of subterranean Los Angeles. Karagozian’s work brilliantly showcases the elaborate choreography happening beneath Angelenos’ feet in the unfamiliar environment of underground tunneling in the city.

      While the large-scale images will be on display for those traveling through the iconic downtown landmark for essential business, Karagozian’s collection of stunning photography will also be presented in an online gallery on the station’s dedicated artwork page.
