Healthcare Panel: You Have Questions? We Have Experts!

A panel of experts with the goal of creating clarity around healthcare proposals, an issue of vital importance to everyone. This is not a debate or an advocacy event. As a service to the community, it is designed to be an open and honest discussion of the current state of healthcare policy, our possible paths forward, what those paths could mean for consumers, and how we pay for all this. There will be prepared questions and the opportunity for audience questions.
East Valley Indivisibles and the District Delegates of AD 46 are presenting along with Los Angeles City Councilmember, David Ryu, and CA State Assemblymember, Adrin Nazarian.

Following the last pair of Democratic debates, EVI and the District Delegates of AD 46 decided to put together a panel of experts with the goal of creating clarity around healthcare proposals, an issue of vital importance to everyone. This is not a debate or an advocacy event. As a service to the community, it is designed to be an open and honest discussion of the current state of healthcare policy, our possible paths forward, what those paths could mean for consumers. There will be prepared questions and the opportunity for audience questions.

Expert panel members shall include; Maureen Cruise, RN, Director of Healthcare for All-Los Angeles Chapter, Paul Song, MD, President of Physicians for a National Health Program, Beatriz Sosa-Prado, M.S., Executive Director of California Physicians Alliance (CaPA) and Anthony Cardillo, MD, Chief Executive Officer & Founder at Mend Health, Inc.

“Too often, our understanding of different healthcare plans is shaped by sound bites from talking heads on TV. I am excited to join with Indivisible to help separate fact from fiction on the vitally important topic of our healthcare,” stated Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian. “As Chair of the Assembly Aging and Long-Term Care and a member of the Health Committee, I am looking forward to this discussion.”

"With so much attention on this issue, it is vital for the public to get involved in shaping the future of healthcare policy. The first step in doing that is hearing from our local experts directly," Councilmember Ryu said. "As the chair of the City Council committee overseeing Health, I am proud to support this important discussion."
