Queer Book Club with CB Lee

Led by Lambda finalist CB Lee, we read & discuss Queer authors, books, and topics across genres (mostly fiction). If you're tired of book clubs that don't actually talk about the book, then you just found what you're looking for. (Note: Normally, Queer Book Club meets on the first Monday - but we've moved it to Wed in June, as CB will be on the road to launch her new book!)   We're reading Katrina Carrasco's rollicking The Best Bad Things, featuring ex-Pinkerton detective Alma Rosales. This is a 19th century adventure, with a rangy, queer, Bond-like rogue-heroine and a solid historical mise en scenè.    HOW IT WORKS: All book clubs require a ticket, and include the book, snacks/bevs, and a dedicated moderator - to keep the discussion on track! All clubs meet at The Last Bookstore. You can get your ticket one of two ways: either thru the link on this page (*we'll ship the book to you!) - OR buy your ticket in the store, just look for our book club display (near the book tunnel). *If you choose the on-line option (the one with shipping), please send a mailing addy to -- Do not try to pick up the book in person.   CB Lee is a bisexual Chinese-Vietnamese American writer based in Los Angeles and is the author of the Sidekick Squad series and Seven Tears at High Tide. Not Your Sidekick (Sidekick Squad #1) was a 2017 Lambda Literary Awards Finalist in Young Adult. Connect with her on Twitter @author_cblee and on Instagram at @cblee_cblee.
