Universal Declaration of Human Rights - Youth Solutions Summit

The Youth Solutions Summit seeks to empower American youth to stand up for human rights during the UDHR 70th Anniversary Celebration in Los Angeles, CA. Students attending this event will engage with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Office of Mayor Garcetti by providing local solutions for human rights challenges facing the Los Angeles area. The Youth Solutions Summit will also give students the opportunity to interact with high level public leaders, partners and organizations by showcasing their passion and impact for human rights. As an event taking part during the overall 70th Anniversary Celebration of the UDHR, the Youth Solutions Summit will invite students to celebrate the progress that has been made in human rights through digital campaigning and advocacy. Prior to the upcoming Youth Solutions Summit, the United Nations Association national office will choose five Human Rights Ambassadors to present their youth perspective and local solution implementation ideas for human rights. Those selected will engage in high level discussions with other students and community leaders. We invite you to please share this unique opportunity with your high school students.
