The Whisky a Go Go is a premiere nightclub located on the infamous Sunset Strip of West Hollywood, California. Since opening its doors for the first time in 1964, Whiskey a Go Go Hollywood has become a major player on the Los Angeles entertainment and nightlife scene. The venue was originally known as a discotheque and was, fittingly enough, credited for being one of the birthplaces of Go-Go dancing.
More than 40 years later, and the Whiskey a Go Go schedule looks a little different. Nowadays, the venue's focus is on Rock, and over the years, Whiskey a Go Go Hollywood has welcomed some of the genre's finest to its stage.
